Tier 02
Freight & Dispatch
Once authority is active, load selection decides whether you're profitable. We dispatch to a minimum rate threshold — not just to keep the truck moving.
A truck that's always loaded isn't the goal. A truck that's always loaded profitably is. Our dispatch team works vetted shippers, brokers, and contract opportunities, and enforces a strict load-acceptance threshold so every trip contributes to the bottom line rather than just to the odometer.
How we select lanes
We prioritize lanes with strong bidirectional demand, reliable consignee practices, and healthy fuel surcharges. That combination keeps deadhead down and detention predictable — which is exactly where most small carriers quietly lose their margin without ever seeing it on a rate confirmation.
We dispatch flatbed, dry van, reefer, and hotshot. Flatbed is our specialty, and it's where we can usually move a client's revenue per mile the fastest.
Rate negotiation and lane analytics
We negotiate rates directly and use lane data to know what a load should pay before the call starts. Where a dedicated lane or a direct shipper relationship makes more sense than the spot market, we'll pursue it — contract freight is what smooths out the weeks when spot rates soften.
Dispatch is tied to your back office
Dispatch doesn't end when the load is booked. Rate confirmations are captured and validated, BOLs are scanned and archived, and invoicing is structured to push receivables into factoring where that speeds cash conversion.
We introduce you to factoring partners who can shorten payment cycles from weeks to days, and we coordinate with payroll and accounting so driver pay, owner draws, and operating reserves all line up. The result is a cashflow-aware dispatch model rather than a load board with a phone attached to it.
Deadhead is the quiet killer
We target under 120 deadhead miles between loads. On a two-truck operation, every $0.10 gained in rate per mile adds roughly $610 a week in gross — but only if empty miles don't eat it first.
